Any remedies for cat allergies? My daughter has taken on a rescue cat, I'm allergic to cats but refuse to take tablets.

If you refuse to take tablets, I am afraid I can't help you, I apologize.
What I would of suggested was Anti-Hystomines (sorry about spelling) but they are tablets, hope you find something soon.

Its the glycoprotein in their saliva that your are allergic to, try using a pet wipe on your cats coat to see if that helps.

This month's (May 2013) Your Ca magazine has an article about someone who dealt with an allergy to her cats. It might be worth having a look.

Arr..... I posted to this but it's not appeared. My suggestions - prevalin allergy spray and/or a barrier cream.
