Reminds me of the Anfield one "Shanky" February 2012. I wonder what happened to him.. He was taken in by the rescue we got 3 of our cats from but when fostered broke through a sealed catflap & escaped before he'd been neutered & chipped!

Very quite funny although the cat does look quite stressed and desperate to escape from such a crowd of noise! Thanks for sharing

My brother knows someone that works at the rescue centre that took Shanky in and the foster people were told NOT to leave him out but they did and he ran away, no idea where he is now though

The cat doesn't look as if he enjoys it. The happening was in my country.

Poor kitty! it must have been terrified of all of the noise.Wonder how it got near the pitch. Love Holland dutchkitties,so beautiful, which part are you from? We caught tram to Scheveningen while staying with daughter. Lovely people, and so dog friendly, dogs allowed almost everywhere. Was fascinated by all the carriers on bikes holding peoples dogs (and children).

Thanks for posting this Jenny. I really hope he's found a way to survive as the rescue (& probably the fosterer) was 8-9 miles away from his old stomping ground.

Hi Migsy, I live 500 metres from Amsterdam. You must have been in the Hague when you could reach Scheveningen that way. Glad you like our country. I've never been to the UK, so I cannot compare.

Yes we were Dutchkitty.Husband said he would be happy to live in Holland which is a very big compliment as he has never said that about any country we have visited before.Everywhere is so very beautiful. We visited the Madurodam, which was fantastic, and Delft. We enjoyed the kibberling too, very tasty (if that is how to spell it.)I took hundreds of photographs. We were blown away by how friendly and kind the Dutch people are.
