I mean, Leopard geckos! There are no "Introduce yourself" pages in there though I have just joined the forum as I love all things cute and furry, although none of my pets have fur. Here's Berkeley the almost-3-year-old male Leopard Gecko, Kingsley the 1.5-year-old female Leopard Gecko, Flo the 5-year-old female Axolotl, Shadowfax the (I'm Guessing) 2-3-year-old male Axolotl, And Flo & Shadowfax's son Crixus, 8 months old last week I will be hanging out in the reptile forums no doubt, but also love to see other peoples pets of all kinds, and I used to have the most beautiful black cat called Pusscuss. So I will be dotting around here and there, hope that's allowed!

Hi Pawprintclaire (fab name ) - you'll love it here as everyone is SO friendly and welcoming....and helpful LOVE your exotics Leopard Geckos were pretty popular when I worked in a pet shop over 16 years ago but Axolotls I've only ever seen on a handful of occasions. My hubby thought I was making it up when I tried to describe them to him So then he googled them and asked if we could keep some! I've told him to hang fire until we get our decorating sorted and I work out where to put an aquarium...as well as the vivarium I want to plant up and, next spring, a tank to watch the breeding behaviour of Sticklebacks (think I need a bigger house!)

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone! and no worries there scallywag I'm not big on swearing (how do I tag?) My hubby thought I was making it up when I tried to describe them to him So then he googled them and asked if we could keep some! I've told him to hang fire until we get our decorating sorted and I work out where to put an aquarium...as well as the vivarium I want to plant up and, next spring, a tank to watch the breeding behaviour of Sticklebacks (think I need a bigger house!) Haha well they do indeed sound like a made-up creature, couldn't believe my eyes the first time I saw one...instantly fell in love with "the fish with legs" They are amazing little creatures, it will be worth the wait and hard work! What do you plan on keeping in a planted vivarium? Sticklebacks are great, would love to have some in the pond!

Hi pawprintclaire, to tag in most cases you just need to put an @ in front of the username of the member. However some members have a different display name to their member name so you can check by hovering the pointer over their name in the box to the left of their post (above their profile pic) & you'll see the tag you should use. Hope that makes sense, I'm renowned for making things look more difficult than they are. This is the link to the official help on this www.proboards.com/user-guide/posting/tagging

I was just going to plant the vivarium up with plants - possibly go for a tropical jungle effect - so I can still have my plants but that naughty kitten of mine won't be able to knock them over or try to eat them A friend of mine had one set up and had Arrow Poison Frogs in which WAS pretty awesome so perhaps one day we might get around to sorting that out.

Ohhh I see. Yeah, if you've got it set up anyway, might as well keep some adorable little critters in there too!
