I was pleased to see a photo of Toffee in May's magazine. His prize is a cat collar and a cat wand toy. What did he do on Friday just after I read about his prize? he came in minus his collar. I put another one on him, the last one in the house (I have to buy several at a time) and again today he came back in minus his collar. He can wait for his new one to arrive from Your Cat - the one shown in the magazine is pink - his is still going to wear it!

Oh dear!!! I wonder where they are? And more importantly I wonder how he will feel wearing a pink one?? I do a search of our garden whenever my two come back without collars, they can usually be found. The youngest will be attached to the bottom of the side gate, she squeezes under it to look for frogs or mice in the veg patch and around the shed. The oldest will be in the bush that stands in the large flower pot, where she likes to lay and watch the world go by. I think a dust bath or a back and head scratch is the reason that comes off in the plant?? Got to love them.x

Well done! I've had my issue a few days but haven't read it yet. Hope you get your prize, Skye was in it last month and although they asked for me address, I never got my prize

Toni, yes I think the fame has gone to Toffee's head! I must admit I love that photo of Toffee that my husband took - it always makes me laugh when I look at it.
Gladys, I used to be able to find Toffee's lost collars last summer at the top of the garden where he used to squeeze under the fence to go next door but not this year, he's going elsewhere. I like him to wear a collar to let everyone know that he belongs to someone as last year he was a stray and a proper nuisance. He is my only outdoor cat - first of all he hated my dog Kobi and would attack him even though Kobi loves cats. This year he is slowly inproving and will come in the house and sleep in the same room as the dog but we have to watch them. I don't know if we could ever have Toffee in with the other cats though - he thinks they are there for him to look after and parades around their pen and plays with them through the mesh. However, I don't think the 2 boys (the Maine Coons) would take to him bossing them around. We once tried Toffee in the same room as Kai Ruki and poor Toffee was hit by Kai Ruki and was so upset he hid behind the sofa - I thought it would have been the other way around. When I get the cats in from the pen for the night I put Toffee in there for the night.

Lovely picture of Toffee. xx
We don't lose collars anymore, because of the loc8tor. Problem is, we don't know they have left them behind until they wander in without it. Wilf is the culprit. Twice now he has left his in a tree. The good thing is that all 3 of them now come if I buzz them (its the promise of Thrives) so no more chasing over the woods and paddock.

Congratulations, I saw Toffees pic in the magazine, I love that photo, he looks so comical pulling that face, I remember seeing it when you posted it on the old forum, it's brilliant. Shame he loses so many collars, maybe he is telling you he doesn't actually like wearing them lol.
