She did NOT want to leave the shed, she loves it there ! I let her out around 2 and she just sat there and later when I was feeding her I must have left the door open accidentally as there she was sitting in out of the rain

Please have her spayed as soon as possible, if it isn't too late.

I'm so pleased that you have taken her in. With a bit of love, good feeding and attention she will soon be a lovely cat. I think it's a good idea to ring the vet to ask for advice if you still think the cat may be pregnant. Let us know how you get on. When I was feeding a stray 2 years ago I noticed one day that her nipples were more obvious and guessed she was pregnant so I email my Maine Coon's breeder for advice as I keep in touch with her - she told me in no uncertain terms to get the RSPCA or CPL to take her away or take her to the vet to abort the kittens - I was horrified!! I ended up keeping her. She had to have a Caesarean section to have the 4 kittens in the middle of the night at the emergency vets. I ended up falling in love (as you do with kittens) and kept 2 of the kittens and sold 2 and donated the money to the cat rescue centre I had my Bramble from.

Queenie is a nice name, I used to have a cat called Queenie, her original name was Princess but I bought her from a place called Queens Rd so I thought the name suited her, she was a long haired white moggy, one of her parents was a Persian.

No I haven't contacted them yet, with both parents working the weekend is the only suitable time really,But she hasn't gotten any bigger, and maybe she's filling out but it's not as noticeable any more :/ WE just can't seem to decide on a name, she's been nameless for so long that none really suit

You should call her Faith or Hope or something because of her past and now future! Quennie is a lush name though, really nice for cats! I hope she is okay! In the link of the symptoms that Weims gave, it says that abdominal can become swollen and she is skinny but fat looking at the same time, this could be a symptom. Maybe the ring the vet and ask for some advice, etc. Good luck! Also, well done for taking her in! I am sure she will be just fine soon!

I think to go along with the boys it would be nice to ave something that ends with a ie sound. I do lie the name Queenie but i don't think the others are too fond of it. Mam suggested Mrs.Woman wherever that came from but I don't like it ,it's too long and would sound quite odd shouting it through a window at 12 at night when calling her in. The vet said on Saturday that in 5 days her mites and fleas would be gone so on Thursday we are going to start letting her in Charlie and Morandi aren't too pleased with the new tenant and a few hisses have been exchanged :/

I am sure they will learn to tolerate each other at least! Haha, if my dog and cat can go from hating each other to best friends then I am sure your cats can! . Charlie Boy my Westie and Kitty-Aslan (one of my cats and one of my dogs): aslan and charlie boy by ArtrequiresCourage, on Flickr

Hahaha, my ginger cat is still quite young (just turned 2) and he is really playful and loves to stalk and play with my older 6 year old rescue cat. Snarfy doesn't like it and he just runs away, haha, Kitty-Aslan usually gets either bored or tired and just falls asleep next to him!! Thanks by the way! Also, what do your parents think about the whole pregnancy malark?

They say that if she is in fact pregnant that she may have them. The vets won't spay her yet and a abort and spay would be worse. Obviously they'd prefer if she wasn't pregnant but what can you do

It would be easier if she wasn't pregnant but some things just can't be helped and mother nature makes the call! She mustn't be very far into pregnancy then (if she does turn out to be pregnant) because otherwise you would of been able to notice straight away(?). I do hope she is okay. What are you thinking of doing at the moment then? Just getting rid of the mites, etc, getting her weight up a little and making sure she is okay and then seeing how everything goes? Just take it one step at a time, you're doing well! . Rescuing is very rewarding! My Snarfy is a rescue cat

Time to type this again, I did it a minute ago but there was an error,an angry blue bear to be specific.
Basically we are working at one thing at a time,First it was parasites now getting her ears better and getting her weight up and later we will try to get a look at her teeth and spay her.
I'm already feeling the rewards, she just wanted someone to share some love with in exchange for some TLC

Well you're doing just fine! I hate it when there is an error! Anoyying as anything! Is it just my laptop or is the forum glitching a little? At the top where is says Login or Register, etc! Only doing it every half an hour or so, never mind! . I can't wait to see the results! I hope in some ways she isn't pregnant for her sake really, but then again, they are so cute!
