Hello, I have been having problems with a Jack Russell The Jack Russell is called Henry (a boy) Henry has been barking, growling and fighting with the spaniel, Molly. (Molly was the first dog in this household) This makes it look like both of the 2 girls Molly and Hazel (Hazel is chihuahua) at getting picked on, in there home.
Henry is not our dog... Henry is our uncles dog, who has gone on holiday for 3 weeks. Henry has no where else to go.... Things has changed....
Henry can be loving and sweet but there is a dark side towards him... Henry lives in a caravan, with a cat and 2 adults and 1 child.
All the problems we have had... Trying to attack the chickens (they have never been so scared before) Warning Molly, who's the first dog. Chasing our cats (he is nothing like that with his)
I know he can behave better, but he wont.
Please can someone give us ideas what to do! P.s. I know its stupid, but I don't like going near them, when hes going to fight

I would think that, as Henry is used to being an only dog, he's possibly trying to claim territory in his 'new house'. The fact that your cats are not the same cat he is used to is probably why he's chasing them - I don't have cats myself, but I have heard plenty of dog & cat owners say that their dog is fine with their cat, but not any neighbouring cats, for example.
Is there any way you can keep the dogs separate? It might be a bit of a hassle for 3 weeks, but it might also be easier than attempting to start a training regime in the short time you have.
How long has Henry been living with you? Things may well calm down after a few days when the dogs all get used to each other.

i agree with Orpheous87 on keeping the dogs separate. Also, how are the dogs together when outside or on walks? Are they okay together then? Is it only in the house that he is a terror?

Yes that's exactly what's it like We can not keep any dogs separate... Dogs are not allowed in Playroom, Living room or upstairs just kitchen and garden... The reason why the dogs are not allowed to be in those places is.. 1) My brother is allergic to fur 2) We have kittens wondering around the playroom and living-room (they like to get out) He has been here ever since the 23rd in the evening. He has calmed down a lot, but he thinks he's been abounded by his owners. Even though my uncle did say that he is going to try his best to find someone, but we all know he wont. me and Mum sure feels really sorry for him..

Oh dear, poor Henry. I can imagine it's not easy for him being in a new place. I think you're going to have to be firm with him though and put rules in place. Maybe even do some bits of training with him to occupy his mind. But I would train him separately from the other two dogs so that there's no competition and there'll be less risk of any fights starting.

Like I said we can not keep the dogs separate. Outside, Molly and Henry have a go at each other (Only if they are near) Apart from when Hazel is out and she annoys Henry (she knows) he tells her off, by growling and then she be horrible back, but he leaves her alone... (I don't know why) Earlier... I took Molly and Hazel as those 2 girls get along lovely... But when I saw Henry and my brother... henry saw the girls and barked and growled at Molly... So me and my brother has to go different ways... (so not brilliant) When I tried taking all dogs out together Henry and Molly were not very nice. We all think he is not just a Jack Russell Everyone thinks he is a cross-bred Martyn (walks Collies near my house and does dog training with me) Reckons he is a terrier Me, Mum, Nan and Grandad thinks he is a Jack Russell x Staffy He has a Jack Russell face but has long legs and he is fat But he has a patch over his eye (bit smaller than spaniel)

Well technically the dogs known as "Jack Russell Terriers" are actually Russell Terriers and Parson Russell Terriers - two different breeds! They look fairly similar I suppose but Parsons are taller and have been bred separately from Russell Terriers so he could be a Parson Russell Terrier and you're used to just seeing Russell Terriers?
I can't see your pics so for all I know he might not be, but from your description it sounds as though he is. Also him being fat is due to poor feeding, not to do with breed, unless you actually mean that he's just bigger built.
