Does anyone else have this problem? My lovely cat wont eat his wet food unless, he sits on my kitchen worktop, and I stand by him, gently smoothing and talking to him! As soon as I walk away, he stops, jumps down and starts rubbing around my feet, and we have to start all over again. He is OK with biscuits. If I don't stand with him, he shreds my roll of kitchen paper!

No, that is rather strange behaviour. Have you tried to reduce what you do?

As Gladys said, how did it all start? there may be a clue there as to why it he needs this treatment? Also how old is he?
Do you leave kibble down all the time & remove the wet when he's finished or is it all left available for him?
