And believe me haha, she may be cute but she is a complete and utter pig! Hahaha alfiemummy my man has had to pull quite a few rotting dead things out of her mouth but thankfully she's more interested in eating them than rolling in them (easier to get them out her mouth than off her coat!). I think she would given the chance though, she finds poop tasty too but also loves rolling in it so I'm sure she'll discover the joys of carcass rolling soon enough. And it'll be then that she leaps up onto my bed I'm sure hope you managed to get Alfie clean! I would actually rather he rolled in it I would rather bath him than have to touch it! He doesn't drop things easily either and I can think of nothing worse than trying to pry dead animals from his mouth *gag* Call me gross but I didn't actually clean him... it was a dried up dead bird so he had nothing on him and he didn't smell so I didn't worry. It's not the worst thing he's done though. A while back now, I got him home after a walk and he had a really weird smell about him. I couldn't see anything on him and it didn't smell like poop or anything so I just left him. The next day we did the same walk and I caught him rolling - it was a dead rat with all the guts hanging out and everything I instantly regretted not bathing him the day before then

Thanks scallywag ! I don't wanna give her peanut butter coz I'm quite strict on the raw thing but there's a few good ideas on not here even for raw! alfiemummy haha Rosa is quite good at "off!" thankfully (although my man sometimes forgets to give her a chance and grabs the thing out her mouth). Eugh haha well glad he showed you what he was rolling in none next day at least, or who knows how long he would have been covered in it Well I caught her on my bed again today by waiting outside my bedroom door and lidpstening for her jumping up. I them flew through the bedroom door and shouted "off!" And she leapt neatly off. I went out again and she instead took to barking and whining. She probably had no idea what I was telling her off for, argh. Can't wait to get her a crate and get her comfortable in it instead. I had to take her into the bathroom with me while I went for a shower today (she tried to hop in casually after me hahaha) coz I can't leave her on her own anywhere at the moment except the kitchen, and Sasha was in there at the time. It's annoying as I need to do separation training with her but I can't actually leave her haha. Hope I can get the crate soon! Getting the extra large Vari one, which hopefully isn't too big, I haven't actually seen it.

smilesbetter, If she jumps up on the bed when you are listening, maybe you could try just shouting 'off' from outside the room without actually going in? That seems to work best with Alfie as he wonders how on earth I saw him If you go in then she might like the attention instead.

It's just I'm not 100% sure if she's actually gone on the bed or just walked near it. Maybe I could put something on the bed that would make a distinctive sound for the purposes of this training. She hadn't done it since I caught her out earlier and seems to just lie at the door now instead like a massive draft excluder. Not ideal either but better than on my bed! I have now purchased an extra large dog cage for her for travelling and to be her den, so hopefully I can make that so interesting and such an awesome den that she'll prefer that to my bed. So I'm gonna try this kong idea, but what can I use to tie it down in the cage? If I use string she'll just chew through it and don't wanna use anything that might hurt her/would be bad to digest.

I would definitely try putting something with a distinctive noise on the bed, something that rattles or crunches maybe? Of course putting something on the bed will tempt her though... No idea what you could use for the kong, I would have said string but completely forgot about the fact it would get chewed! The only thing I can think of that can't be chewed would be a sort of chain or wire but you don't really want her trying to chew that! Sorry I'm not very helpful

Good idea! I actually have a nice new kong I bought her that she's not had yet, it can be her exclusive crate kong. Not sure what to fill it with yet though, I've been thinking frozen mince or something :S Some fill it with peanut butter smilesbettersomewhere on here there is a thread listing all sorts of idea recepies can't remember if it was puppypal or BorderTerrier could even have been Tom Dick or Harry sorry not much help EDIT found it .... LINKIt was PP who started the Kong recipes thread, I've loved the recipes, already done a few for Earl since first seeing it, he's loved them too - the frozen ones are especially good for hot days. See it here - yourpetforums.co.uk/thread/4297/kong-stuffing-recipes
