My Syrian hamster Percy passed away last night curled up in his little bed. I'd had him 18 months, and he was an adult when I got him, so I suspect he was older. He was such a sweet little guy

Did it go into hibernation? I refused to allow my daughters any more hamsters when they were young as they didn't live very long. They got so upset,so after the second one died I thought it just wasn't worth the heartbreak. They make lovely pets,it's very very sad they don't live very long lives.
