How are your rabbits coping with Mad March Syndrome?
My two are confused with the weather - their hormones are kicking in and yet it's cold and dank.
This is my first year with the buns - they're nearly a year old now. They're both castrated males, but it's interesting how much hormones still hang around without the equipment.

I miss my funny bunny. (dwarf lop). He was just over 5 years old when he passed away. Stomach cancer. He had a huge walk in run in the garden which his hutch was in so he could come and go out of his hutch when ever he liked 24/7. He would also have free run of the garden at some point in the day and would put himself back in his run when it started to get dark. So he was a happy funny bunny. He was castrated. But seems to sense female rabbits in the area. He would also thump the roof of his hutch (he would jump up on there to watch the world go by) with his big back foot when neighbours cats came in the garden, but never did it to our family cats. Infact he would chase our oldest cat round the garden. He was the best rabbit I ever had.

sorry to hear about your rabbit gladys! I have a rabbit, who is fed up of this snow!! When the dogs aren't about we just let him run around the garden! I think he wants to go out in his run!

I don't personally own rabbits and never have but I know my ferrets are going mad! They live in the house with us though - they get cleaned out every day by my dad and bathed regularly so mine don't smell too bad - I know they naturally do! Sarah, thanks for sharing
