The friend who is going to look after Jasper when we go away has a Patterdale bitch and is having her first season. I really hope she's finished by the time we go.

cazypops you can get dog nappies and things now, might offer her a wee bit of protection from his advances if she's still in heat haha. Hope it's gone though, wouldn't be very fun for either dog. He'll have a fantastic time sniffing and hunting around when she's done though as I'm sure the scent will still be there. He'll probably have his nose to the ground the entire time! I'm not particularly looking forward to Rosas first season, eek...
