Hello! My name is Jennie and I am doing my final exam project. The project is about cats and that is why I need you, as a cat owner, to fill out this survey for me. I would be very grateful if you took about 1 minute to answer the questions in the survey. I hope that as many people as possible would be kind to respond. docs.google.com/forms/d/1A8Mo-5tCYazGSy2EzM2cXTYUBLP-cz2iWKekhkdOwTc/viewform?usp=send_form If you have questions feel free to contact me at, pica.examensarbete@gmail.com Thank you for your help! Sincerely Jennie

Done for Carlotta, shame it didn't give options for if you have more than one cat coz my cat Bramble is always sooking on one of my covers (until I evilly brought the cover to Germany coz it's my favourite too!!!). It seems to be more of a remnant from kitten hood though (like how people never stop thumbsucking) as she does the kneading thing at the same time and looks as though she thinks she's drinking from a nipple haha! Weird.

Sorry but, is this for school or is it a Uni project? If it's for school it's fine I guess but if it's like a uni research piece then things like this are more important (as for some Uni pieces they get contested)...
Having people full out the entire form multiple times will seriously skew the results and stops you finding out some potentially useful facts. I don't know your main research question here, but surely it would be useful to be able to see whether multiple cats in one household display the behaviour, whether stimulation affects it (which I assume is what you're going for with the scratching post/toys/going outside/played with questions) as having other cats can make a huge difference stimulation wise. Plus you could have got the age of each cat to see whether that would affect the behaviour, and use the age info on individual answers to see whether cats who may have grown up together have both developed the behaviour, or whether just one has, or if cats moving into existing cat households are more likely to take on the behaviour than only cats.
Sorry, I'm a mad researcher and I like to establish every angle, and if you are doing a research piece for Uni you could find that you get contested because they will see that people have filled out the quiz multiple times and that will throw any theories based on it into doubt. For example from my results you'd currently have "one out of four people have a cat which displays this behaviour" which isn't true at all. It seems a bit pedantic, but when you're writing up theories based on the results then it will have a massive effect. Sorry! Just my opinion and don't mean to be harsh, but I wouldn't consider it a factual piece because of that. I would be willing to re-answer though if you did change it.
