Loved them all orpheous87 thanks for sharing. They looked like they were having fun. Pepers looking good , how is she these days ? Beaus back legs leave a lot to be desired , they give way now and again , long walks are a thing of the past now , sadly

Beaus back legs leave a lot to be desired , they give way now and again , long walks are a thing of the past now , sadly I've been wanting to get them to the beach all through lockdown and finally got there. They loved it. Pepper is good, the deafness hasn't affected her at all really. I did have her on a long line at the start but because when it was dragging through the wet sand it was holding her back and she wasn't really enjoying herself. As soon as I unclipped her, she ran wild lol. Poor Beau, bless him. I'm sure we'll get there with Pepper too when her hips finally get the better of her, but for now she's doing alright. I did have her at the vets last Friday though as she was a bit mopey but the vet couldn't find anything wrong so it must have just been a bad day.

I agree with scallywag, where has the time gone lotsofcats. Aztec's journey to Rainbow Bridge seems much closer to now .

Kobi has started to scratch again and has 'elephant skin' patches in his creases under the front legs and in his one ear. He's had steroid tablets twice this year off the vet and they work for a while. I phoned the vet on Wednesday to see if I could just collect some tablets for him without him being seen. I was told they would ring back if he needed to be seen and if not I could collect the tablets the next day (Thursday). I phone yesterday the the receptionist know nothing about it! She said she would sort it out and I should be able to pick some up today (Friday). Just phoned and yes, I can collect them today after 2.30pm. I'm so glad I haven't got to take Kobi to see the vet as he gets so stressed. Hopefully he will be scratch free soon, bless him. He's really starting to age. MY son came up to visit just before the firebreak lockdown started and he threw the ball up the garden for Kobi. When he'd gone Kobi was worn out and had a sleep. When he woke up he could hardly walk!! I'm wondering if he's got a touch of arthritis as when I give him a biscuit I always get him to do a 'high 5' but he can't do it, he's really struggling.

Bless him, it's awful when they start showing their age isn't it?
