He did seem to really like that orange one but it didn't make it to the end of our session and ended up in the bin - along with two others!

I found that the only balls that last 3 months or so are professional ones, Wilson . Might be £1.10 each but in the long run work out cheap

I have never ever bought Alfie a tennis ball! All of those ones you can see there are ones we've found over the field that other people have lost or discarded Most of them are professional ones! But they have been well used so are more prone to destruction

Haha alfiemummy I've never bought a football or basketball for Sasha actually, they always fly into our garden and get trapped on windy days. Haha your poor local tennis player who keeps losing their balls to Alfie!

Finders keepers Im with that Beau can sniff out a ball before I can even see it, last night he spotted and picked up a half of a ball ( obviously discarded, ) carried it most of the way to the vets, dropped it about 15 mins walk from destination, but... Collected it again from side of the path on our way back LOL

Well done, anyway.

Don't you wish you'd done this months ago? LOL. Well done, anyway. Yes I do! We still have a long way to go with his tennis balls and progress is very very slow. He is already miles better with other objects! In the home if he runs to his corner with something the first thing I will do is remove him from that area and take him somewhere else before asking him to give instead of bribing him like we used to - he is very good at this now!

I wish I could say he was cured zahada! He has definitely improved though He has found a few tennis balls out on walks that I have been able to take from him. Asking him to drop them doesn't seem to work as they are just so high value to him; I have been trying but to no avail. But I am able to take them from him as I said, I get him on his lead and then take hold of it and he will let go in the end. Although I usually have to pry it from his mouth :/ There is no growling at least so I suppose that is a little improvement? I haven't been working on that as much as I should have though so it's my own fault. We are having much better progress in other areas though! If he picks up something in the house I usually intercept him before he gets to his special corner and tell him to drop it, he usually does it immediately. I usually don't even have to ask him to drop things when we are on walks now - as soon as I clip his lead on it's on the floor!
