Penny has been really good since last Wednesday. She finished her antibiotics on Monday and although she had very runny stools for a few days it was back to firm today. So was thinking about reducing her Kalm-Aid & maybe then removing the PVC from the sofa. Famous last words - glad we hadn't removed the PVC. As mark saw her sniffing my seat on the sofa but then nothing but within 5 minutes I saw her sitting on the other end then realised she wasn't quite sitting - yep she was peeing!!!! Oh well just 30 minutes under 7 days since her last one, still better than daily! At least it was easy to clean. Throw in the wash after treating with Stain & Odour remover & PVC mopped up & cleaned with Distilled vinegar & water. Sofa was fine She's had a the odd hairball or phelgm & grass vomit in the last few days but that's nothing unusual although she has been outside for the grass which is a bit unusual but then I need to replace the cat grass. She enjoyed the sunshine this morning. Her litter trays were due to be changed this evening & perhaps were a bit more powdery (we use wood pellet) than we'd like but no worse than we've had on other occasions, so don't think that's the case. Then I remembered that we used the Beaphar Calming Spot-on last Wednesday & they say reapply after a week. So its possible that it was working & now no longer is. So will reapply this evening & keep up with it next week and continue with everything else. Perhaps just clutching at straws.

tonib oh dear! Hopefully it's just a one off thing. You must be getting fed up of the PVC, glad you still had it on though!

Thanks everyone, at least we proved how easy it was to clean & that the throw was easy to wash & dry. It was washed, starting around 7:15 pm hung up to dry over the gallery landing rail & was back on when we went to bed. Couldn't believe it was that quick to dry! The throws make it more pleasant to sit on. Although Mark had moved on to the other sofa as he doesn't have to worry about keeping the PVC & throw in place as he gets up & down! At the moment Penny is sprawled on the climber in the living room so keeping a watch on her. Edit: Just as I posted this she got on the sofa had a good sniff around & sat down in a couple of places - I was careful to watch she was fully backside to ground (talk about tenterhooks! Then she got off so relaxed again

You will be following Penny around the house! She was doing so well. Hopefully it was just the Calming Spot On that had worn off.
