Hi all! I'm Ringlets (thats my name on the internet so thought I;d keep it here too! ) I live in the Uk, I'm married and we have 5 Cats , (another 4 Cats visit us too lol) , and we also have horses. I've owned and loved cats all my life <3
All of our current cats are rescued- but in a way they rescued me too! My hubby calls them therapy cats!
Maria and Kiara are two beautiful ginger kittens - twin girls .. well I still call them kittens , they are actually adult now ... they were abandoned on the road outside our stables in freezing temperatures in Dec 2012 at only 10 weeks old. Starving and almost froze to death we took them in..and kept them. They are our little babies now - our housecats, spoiled and happy and definitely part of the family,. Everyone falls in love with them! Maria has dark red thick swirls on her light ginger coat and deep orange eyes - she has huge eyes and ears and a long thin tail- she's cute, tall and talkative -and very naughty at times, but she knows how to win you over. Not your average looking ginger moggie!, Kiara has lighter red spots on a pale ginger coat and pretty amber eyes. She is loving, talkative and clever and she knows how to ask for treats or fuss! if you are ever upset, she's the worlds best comforter.
They can do a begging trick we call the "Meerkat" - they literally sit up like meerkats - on their own - whenever they want to ask for treats! XD
I heard that a ginger female is not that common? so does having two ginger sisters make them rare? they are completely pricelss to us regardless.
Our other Cats are stable cats - ferals we adopted from the local Cats protection league. Diva is a naughty tortie who lives up to her name - she is a stunningly beautiful but free spirited tortie and white kitty with big green eyes. Rosa and Arena are two pretty black sisters with tiny white hairs on their chest and big yellow eyes - they were around 6 months old when we adopted them in summer 2012 and you would never know they had ever been feral! they are so friendly and loving and constantly with us. They are adventurous, loving and playful. if you dont feel well, Rosa knows it and she's always there purring and kneading you to help you feel better.
Be prepared for much pic spam when I get the time! and I look forward to reading about other peoples kitties too!
