After still not receiving my Feb issue of the mag (I phoned up two weeks ago and they said they would resend) I phoned up today again and they apologised and said they were all out of stock, they have kindly extended my subscription for an extra two issues wahey, so I decided to just buy the digital edition for the last mag. But on the competition page I decided to enter as it said the deadline is first of February ie today so thought wahey, this is lucky for me and I've just made it in time. But on going to the page to enter details etc it is already set up for codes for the march issue only so I can't enter after all. Doesn't make sense to me, why advertise as closing date being 1st Feb if I can't actually enter on 1st feb? Boo. Rant over, can't help feeling it was gonna be my lucky month lol

Are you sure it didn't mean it closes at midnight of Jan 31st? Probably not, just a guess. If not, that is strange - and very unfair! What a disappointment for you. Don't know if its either a technical issue, lack of bother to check the dates from the team (sorry!!) or a down-right con!

Sounds to me that they are always cocking up peoples delivery, someone on here can't remember who, said they were fed up about it and have cancelled their subscription, and now buying from the shops
Not good enough really is it.

I'm a pedantic so and so so (too many so's?!) if it says 1st February then I take it to mean up to and including 1st February. That's the first time that's happened to me with delivery of the mag. Was good of them to give me an extra two issues though so can't complain, like I say I just like things to mean what they say  |

Few years sgo, Your Dog used to publish the names of competition winners. I used to get my magazines delivered by a local newsagent. One day I received my copy, immediately found the page with winners names. I wasn't surprised not to see my name, but I was very surprised to see that the winners were from the previous month's competition - which hadn't closed yet. I did check the previous issue and yes the competition was closing few days AFTER I received my copy.  |
