Hi everyone, I thought I would introduce you to our four pet pygmy goats!

Their names are; Hermione, Harry, Ron & Neville (as you may have guessed they are named after Harry Potter characters!!)
They are all still kids, Hermione is the oldest at about 9 months now, the boys are all younger; the two brothers Ron & Neville are 6 months, with Harry just a few weeks behind them.
They can be escape artists, but are really friendly and surprisingly similar to dogs! Love human attention, love to learn tricks, love food & like to play & explore

These photos are taken of them when they were younger, so they are slightly bigger now; about Cocker Spaniel size roughly.

In order of photos; Ron, Harry, Neville & Hermione

Also, we have six chickens (who live with the goats - sort of!)
And their names are; Jessie, Hettie, Whitney, Lily, Flora & Maisy

The chickens like to eat the leftover porridge in the mornings, and love to sunbathe on sunny days

Luckily all our dogs seem to get on well with both the chickens & the goats!!!

Glad you liked the photos of the goats

They are so cute, every time you go in the pen to see them they run up to see you and jump up on you, wanting to be petted! Then when you leave they try and follow you out........

We were in the middle of the Harry Potter books when we got them (everyone in our house is Harry Potter mad too!) It turns out that they each seem to be very similar to the characters they were named after

And we have gerbils too......here's a picture!

Amber especially is great with the animals, really gentle and friendly with them & that includes the gerbils (even though she chases rabbits and mice in the garden!) It's amazing really....
