Kaya, you came to us at 9 months old in 2001, your friendliness and purrs stole my heart through those cages at the rescue centre. You were also the most beautiful cat that I have ever seen. You came home with us and although you were very scared and hid behind furniture at every opportunity, you eventually felt more relaxed and became a very important part of our family. You loved to play and purr. You would purr while eating, sleeping and playing, you just purred all the time.

I am absolutely heartbroken that your time was up and even though the vets did everything they could, your heart and lungs just couldn't fight anymore. Although you will be at Rainbow Bridge now with my other fur babies (Skittles, Snickers & Smudge), I am left here with a shattered heart and soul. You touched my life in so many ways and I will always love you with all my heart. You will never ever be forgotten my handsome boy. You and my other fur babies will always be in my thoughts everyday.

I am writing this in floods of tears but please know that I love you very very much. RIP my precious boy Kaya xxx

I am so sorry to hear about Kaya He had the best mummy ever. I bet hes telling everyone at Rainbow Bridge all about how he had a good life on planet earth with his human family. He will welcomed up above, you can be sure of that.

Oh Sam (sajamorph) I'm so sorry to hear about Kaya. I remember how heart broken you were when you lost Snickers in 2012 & the pair of you make a fitting avatar. I hadn't realised you'd lost Smudge as well.

Kaya will be fit & well again at Rainbow Bridge with with his pals remembering the love & care you gave them all.

Take comfort from Tasha & your family, who will all miss Kaya too, and know that we all here will be thinking of you.

RIP Kaya.
