Hi there,
My names Emma, I'm from Lancashire UK.
I have 3 Shetland sheepdogs (Alaska - blue merle, April - blue merle and Aiden - Tri colour) and 1 Chihuahua called Oliver.
I also have cats, ferrets and African Pygmy Hedgehogs.
I am looking forward to making some new friends

Hi Emma, i have a 11 month old rough collie(tri) called Riley and a rescue cat (Sindy).
i love shelties and we were towing with the idea of getting a sheltie before we decided on Riley but my hubby has always wanted a rough collie from being very young, but a sheltie would be something we might be thinking about in a few years time when Riley has calmed down a little, he would love a brother/ sister he is so friendly. i love the sable and i love the merle not sure which i would go for i think all 3 colours are just beautiful.

Hi Emma,welcome to the forum.Shelties are beautiful,some are quite shy,but a pair we sometimes see on the North Bay are quite cheeky.Skip was adopted from our local r.s.p.c.a. he is 11 now but still a cheeky monkey.It was thought at first he was a Border collie x Rough collie,but as he didn't grow much bigger,and noticing how much he
looks more like a Sheltie from the back when playing with other Shelties, we think he is more likely B.C.X Sheltie. The bonus is he is a bit calmer than our last pure B.C. so that's perfect.Think lazy Border Collie and you will have Skip just about right.Looking forward to seeing some pics of your gang.

I'm sure I already posted my hello?? Anyhoo, Welcome to the forum. I'm Sammi and I have two cats one is an old girl and sleeps a lot. The other one is a moody cow!! She is half Maine Coon and will only be fussed on her terms. I also have two Boston Terriers, Cooper who will be 5 years at the beginning of January and Skala who is 13 weeks old. Look forward to seeing photos of your fur family. |
