I get up fairly early, 6.25am. Then I run around like mad thing and don't even have a cup of tea until I get into work for 9am. I put food out for the birds in the back garden and some mealworms in the front garden. I change the cats' and Kboi's water bowls in the house, get Kobi's breakfast and then the cats in the house. I tidy the living room. I do my make up and straighten my hair. I take my heart tablets. I get Toffee's food ready for outside and change outside water bowl and one in the cat pen. I check litter trays in the cat pen and put some cat biscuits and chicken for the cats to snack on. I make hubby a cup of tea and take it to him in bed (spoilt). I let Toffee out of the cat pen and put 3 cats in there for the day. I let Kobi out into the garden. I make sandwiches and a drink for my daughter for work and also for myself. I wash the dishes and tidy up in the kitchen. If I've done any washing I put it on the line. I'm just about ready to go out to work at 8.10am - my daughter starts at 8.30am so I drop her off first. If the traffic isn't too bad I sometimes have time to go into Asda for any odds and ends I need, usually have to get milk for work too. Omg lotsofcats 🙈it sounds to me like you have already done a day’s work before getting to work😂I agree with scallywag try and slow down lol 😅x Wow I hope u get a little rest when u get to work that's a hectic mornings work

Well not a happy bunny today😡 02’s repair shop messaged me -stating that the repair to my mobile phone will not be covered under the warranty’s and to phone the 02 shop. All the guy in the 02 shop could do was give me a quote that the repair shop and sent to them £310 🙈no other details- he gave me the contact no of02/ repair shop and told me to ask why it wasn’t covered under warranty since the phone is not even 3 months old yet.
Cut a long story short they said that there was a dent on the middle of the screen where the screen protector had been removed . I wasn’t aware that it even had a screen protector on “ and i definitely have not removed anything.
(Unfortunately I’m really regretting not taking insurance out with Samsung now ) Grrrr They said that I could claim on the house insurance but hubby said no because it would then increase.
So I had 2 choices -1 return the phone with the dead pixel ( that would by the way send my eyes crazy when looking at the screen 🙈) - 2 pay the charge and get the phone fixed which would include - a brand new screen and screen protectors which would put the the phone back in to full warranty and should be done between 5-7 days.
So i’v decided to go for option 2 although not at all happy , but I couldn’t have coped with the dead pixel it would have not been good on the eyes. But hubby thinks I should write to Samsung with a complaint 😡
So all in all not a good day 😡

Might be worth a try , might give you ammunition for your complaint

Isn't that so unfair they saying u removed a protective screen which u didn't if its a screen it needs there is lots of shops that will.replace a screen for a lot less than that here screen replacement on my old Samsung a13 was 70 euro also I think there is an excess on house insurance some years back our car was broken into they took everything Debs purse cards money everything I phoned the company i was told the excess would be the price I would pay to replace most of what was taken ok I dropped that idea when the insurance renewal arrived some months later there was a 80 claimed on it i phoned and explained there was no came made they looked into it and it wasn't a clne it was the fee for the enquiry its all crazy

Just renewed Kobi's insurance. I've been with Animal Friends for years and the renewal price they quoted me was up from £24.15 a month to £41.05. No rewards for loyalty with insurance companies! The new company I have changed to is £21.08 per month.

So Animal Friends have lost & you've gained £3.07 over last years payments @lotsofccats . Did you lose out on any pre-existing conditions?

chantel sorry to hear about your phone repair. I would take it up with Samsung and/or the company you got the phone (I assume O2) from. If it was classed as being damaged due to screen protector removal & it didn't come with one or it so easily came off that you weren't aware it had one or even found one around then I'd say that you weren't responsible. Proving it might be difficult though but worth a try. Did you buy it in a store or online & was it part of a contract renewal? Get as much information together before you contact anyone. I'd also find out how the screen protector is issued. I have had few Samsung phones & I can't remember any protector being on the phone itself on purchase other than a thin film, with a tag to peel it off, that protected it in the box. Definitely not one you'd keep on the phone for any length of time. The last one I got might have had a separate screen protector that I haven't used but that might have come with the case I bought I can't remember. I'd still get it repaired by O2 as I presume that was the company you bought from but be careful you don't sign away any rights to take this further if you want to in the future.

Thanks 🙏 everyone for your views , well I have received a message today stating it has now been repaired and is being delivered back to my own address. tonib - I think the film cover that they put on the phone to protect in the box was the only cover the phone had on, that is the only cover that was on the phone when I received it, so quite puzzled 🤔 the main thing is that I had it repaired so will be inspecting it when i receive it,and also it will now put it back in full warranty. I will definitely get all my facts together before putting in a complaint - although I feel that the complaint is more to do with 02 the company- it was never returned to Samsung , 02 sent it to the 02 repairs shop. I’m not feeling well today , I started with a upset stomach yesterday whilst at work 🙈 and been up and down to the toilet for most of the night, so had to phone in sick today.😫 I can really sympathise with you lotsofcats and poor kobi - I think I was up 11 times throughout the night. As for the pet insurance lotsofcats glad you have managed to save a bit by changing. I changed Freddy to Argos last year because his insurance increased , but I am expecting an increase this year when it’s up to be renewed, i fact I need to have a look to see when that is , but Freddy is 9 in April so I think I will have to stay with Argos now.

I hope that you are feeling better soon chantel. Good idea to stick with Argos for Freddy's insurance. Some companies won't even insure older cats. It's when you have been with a company for several years that they start hiking up the prices for renewals.

Sorry to hear you're not well chantel, hope its only a brief upset stomach & you recover quickly. stress related? At least its been repaired quickly & is now back under warranty. I remember you getting Freddy, can't believe its 8/9 years ago!
