Did you not get a little guide book with it? I did sausages in ours the other day and preheated at 190C for 3 minutes prior to putting them in. Then they took about 15 mins to cook on the grill setting. But you also can't go wrong with doing everything on 200C for 20 mins Iceland, I think it is, have started putting air fryer cooking instructions on their packaging. Most things take less time than they would in the oven somehow.

Oh dear what a start to 2024. lotsofcats, hope your cold gets better & you can see your sister-in-law and she improves. I've started a cold but so far, like you, not tested positive for covid cazypops sorry to read about your fall & glad to hear your foot is able to be stood on now even though it might take a while for the bruising to go. i'm also in the bad luck situation as well. Mine started on Monday 18th December, when I & my car had an altercation with a double decker bus. Everyone (except vehicles) fine. Not going into details but my insurers are assessing my car - it had to be recovered away & was taken from the recovery depot to a bodyshop in the week between Xmas & New Year, still waiting to hear what the prognosis. As I was the one who pulled out into the main road (thought I had the space in both the flows of traffic to turn right which was the direction the bus was coming from) the insurance think it will be classed as my fault, luckily I have protected no claims. The bus put a big dent on the back side wing/axle, luckily avoided the actual drivers door. The police were called & I was not surprised at their mandatory breathalyser result it was 0 I hadn't had any alcohol for 2 days! Not sure what they will do, presumably I will hear something in the future. Not only that but after I'd spent sometime back at home contact insurers etc. I went out to the kitchen & found Stevie playing with something shiny & discovered it was a mince pie in its foil. when I'd come in I hadn't shut the under-stairs cupboard where the alarm panel is. It's also used as my pantry. I looked in & found an open pack of 9 mini mince pies had been got out. There had only been 6 left in but there was now only 1 complete one & 4 with no pastry tops all still in the plastic tray which had been pulled from the box, crumbs on the floor & the one that Stevie had again with no top. It looked like the mincemeat hadn't been eaten luckily but the worry of the cats being poisoned capped off the evening. However all was well other than a little diarrhoea for Stevie, he has a sensitive stomach & after talking to the vet on Tuesday morning I walked round to the surgery & picked up more of the Nutrabio supplement I have him for such instances as well as the already ordered Nutramarin for Lexie. It's only about 15-20 minutes walk away & it was a fine day. Took them the usual biscuits/chocolates for Xmas but asked this branch to let the others have theirs as I had no car to take them myself. The insurers organised me a Europcar Fiat 500 from the Thursday so I was able to finish all my Xmas shopping although my neighbour had said he would take me for my Xmas pick-up slot 9:30-10pm on the Friday!!! They had to hire a car as the normal process is that the courtesy car comes from the approved repairers but they didn't have any available until towards the end of January!! So from an Auris hybrid so automatic with plenty of features (auto lights/wipers, reversing camera etc.) to a manual again with very basic features & is much smaller. My neighbour came out with me on the Thursday afternoon as a reassurance for me & did have to remind me to change gear a few times, but it soon came back to me. The small amount of bruising (from seat belt) has now almost gone but still a few slight muscular aches from the jolt but nothing that needs medical attention. However that picture of Riley celebrating his 11th birthday chantel really starts 2024 in a lovely way. wishing everyone a better 2024.

I used mine for the first time tonight. I did things by the instructions on the packets, but I think I over did them.
I either shouldn't have pre heated, or I should have lessened the timings. I also have a duel draw.
I did frozen southern fried chicken and frozen diced potato's. I think when I go shopping on Thursday I'll be investing in an air fryer magazine.
So do I still used the same heating and timings that I'd use in the oven? My question too

OMG tonib, you're as bad as me! I hit another car at the end of November as I pulled onto a roundabout and I thought the car had gone! I clipped his bumper and his and mine bumpers were hanging off. I can certainly sympathise with you. It really shakes you up. It was all my fault and nobody was hurt. Both cars had to be recovered because the other driver had a flat tyre and my car wouldn't start (apparently there's a button that needs to be pressed and we couldn't find it) I was given a brand new Suzuki Swift as a courtesy car (I'm surprised I was trusted with that!) and I had it for 2 weeks. It was such a relief to get my car back before Christmas. However, I did have a phone call off my insurance company on Friday 22nd December saying the other driver was claiming for whiplash and an injured leg!!, despite saying at the time, several times that he was fine, as was I. Trying it on obviously. I think they will pay his whiplash claim only. I didn't get whiplash! Funnily enough I saw him in Asda's that evening doing his Christmas shopping, I recognised his wife (she's really tall, I wouldn't have recognised him) and he was walking fine, no limp! How would he get any injury from my bumper hitting his passenger corner back bumper I don't know. No airbags went off. Glad that Stevie was fine after his pilfering!

Oh no tonib! What a nightmare for you, but glad you weren't hurt apart from bruising. And glad Stevie was okay too! lotsofcats I had a car accident in 2017 where some silly woman just stopped for no reason in the middle of the road just after the sign that shows you can go national speed limit. I was the 3rd car and couldn't stop in time, despite hitting my brakes. I hit the car in the middle and shunted him forward, but my car was the one that was damaged the most. He had a tiny bit of damage to his bumper, got out and said he was fine. He was more bothered that the latte he'd just bought from McDonalds had spilt all over his car! Fast forward two years or so and I received a solicitor's letter saying he was claiming for whiplash! When I spoke to the solicitors and explained what had happened from my POV, she said that they'd be requesting all his medical records to see if he went to the doctors/hospital at the time. I've never heard anything more since then so can only assume the records showed nothing of the sort and he was just trying it on! I reckon he'd had one of those cold calls where they ask if you've ever been in an accident and thought he'd have a go.

Sorry to see you've been in the wars too tonib, hope you're ok, and glad to see the was not lasting damage [except to the mince pies} to Steveie. orpheous87 when I had someone T-bone me in 2010 I didn't hear anything and thought it was all solved. As there was no witnesses I agree to 50/50, but three years later I got a phone call telling me it was going to court as he was blaming me. I turned up to court bet there was no sign of him, and I still to this day don't know what the outcome was, because my lawyer and his lawyer got together and I got sent home, and I never even saw a judge.

cazypops Funny how it's always men isn't it? 😒 The lawyers must have decided he was trying it on or something, maybe? Or you'd have been told something, surely

Because I thought it was all solved between the insurance I never gave it a thought, so when the solicitor rang I thought it was a scam to begin with.

Has anyone been watching Mr bates v the post office?
I remember the case, the things those poor people were put through it's a travesty.
I agree that, that Paula woman should be stripped of her CBE.

Yes, I've been watching cazypops. I agree she should too. Their attitude to the sub postmasters was vile.

This is a photo I took of the damage, the blue/green is from the bus! It also shows how muddy the recovery compound was when I went to collect everything out of the car!!!! 20231219_125346 by osiriscat, on Flickr I was very, very lucky it din't hit the driver's door! I still can't work out what happened to cause it. Did I misjudge the gap, had the bus speeded up, had I made too shallow a turn so didn't clear the lane quick enough, was I too slow turning out out of the side road. The bus I presume had a camera so I may eventually find out. Still got to hear about my car & I've no idea what the police may or may not do. But there's nothing I can do about it now . The last time I was in an accident sometime pre 2000 I was in a queue waiting to turn right when the car behind hit me, apparently she'd used the accelerator rather than the brake. It pushed me into the car in front. I think my car got the worst of it. Luckily the car in front was hardly damaged & the passengers & its contents were OK, just as well they were taking a wedding cake to the venue!!! It turned out that the car behind's driver was uninsured, no MOT & had children on board!!! orpheous87 & cazypops those late claims are a real cheek, glad they seem to have come to nothing. lotsofcats I suppose whiplash isn't always apparent at the time but an injured leg should be noticeable at the scene.
