If my mum was still alive she would have been 100 today. Bless you, mum. Still missing you after 17 years. xx My Dad would have been 102 this year, and Mum would have been 91. Dad passed 21 years ago this year, and 14 years ago for Mum. Still miss them every day.

Still missing you after 17 years. xx My dad would have been 100 on the 28th May ( he died almost 20 years ago) and we tried to console ourselves when Mum passed ( three weeks ago) that she left us when she did so that she could make Dad a special cake.....she loved to bake.😢

It's a lovely thought that she went to make your Dad his special cake.

And when she d finished his special cake maybe Mum made some stinky dog treats for Nutmeg, who adored her " granny" and was a frequent visitor to the care home.

Well sorry I have not been active last couple of days i’v not been great 🙈I had a massive panic attack whilst at work Thursday afternoon- I had pins and needles in my arms and legs, I was shaking I just felt really unwell 😢I think it was a bit of both heat / exhaustion because I had been sat up down stairs with Riley all night he wasn’t coping with the heat and Freddy was struggling with the heat after his op.
( hubby had to walk to my work to bring me back home in my care because I wasn’t well enough to drive )
I had had nothing to eat on Wednesday because everything I ate just came straight back up - I’m still struggling with my chest and throat especially in a morning 🙈
Also the other issue was my rheumatoid consultant advised me to stop taking proprananol for anxiety with it been a beta blocker it would be effecting my circulation in my fingers so I was advised to wean off them gradual which I have done so it could also be due to that 🙈I phoned in sick yesterday to my manager’s delight but I wasn’t well enough to go - I spoke with my gp who said I must start the propranolol again / booked me in for full bloods wed with my throat still being bad and gave me a sick note for 1 week to give chance for the anxiety meds to get in my system again.
Riley has been camping in the living room with hubby last 2 nights it’s so much cooler downstairs and he’s been fine thank goodness 😅

So sorry to hear you are having problems with your health again. I hope that once you have your bloods done, the doctor can get you sorted on the right medication for you. I hope you feel better soon chantel.

Sorry you're not feeling well again chantel. I hope you can get sorted soon. I was away at Scarborough this week for a few days. The weather was glorious, but thankfully we also had a lovely cooling breeze off the sea that helped. Before we went I bought Jasper a cooling bandana from Pets at Home and it was a god send. I was going to get him a cooling coat, but he's a funny size so I didn't know if the s/m would be too small for him and weather the L/EXL would be too big, so the small bandana was the best option for him. It only just fit him too.
