I've got my first jab booked for Saturday morning. I've heard that anyone under 40 will be given Pfizer now, but I suppose I won't know for sure until the day. I'd heard that too. Good luck with yours. I'm having my 2nd one on Wednesday and have to go to a different venue this time, 10 miles away. I thought perhaps it was because the Sports Centre that I went to last time was now opening for other things but I heard yesterday that people are still being asked to go there - I think it's the younger ones for their 1st jab. In Wales over 25 year olds are now being offered the jab.

My friend had hers today at the same place I'm going and she said it'll be Pfizer as that's what they're giving everyone under 40 so, although I wasn't particularly concerned about which vaccine I got, I feel like it's a bit of good news that I won't need to worry about blood clots! Oh that's strange. But if they're having a big push to get everyone their first dose, I suppose it makes sense that they might need to use more venues.

That's good news then scallywag! Well, not the sore arm, of course! Hoping I'm as lucky. 2nd one is booked for 31st of July so we'll see how that one goes too!

My shoulder is sore when I lift my arm up, but other than that it's so far so good tonib! And it was the Pfizer vaccine. We were also told (my brother had his at the same time) that with them bringing the 2nd jabs for over 50s forward, they might bring ours forward too but obviously that's a wait and see thing.

Hows the shoulder now orpheous87 mine only lasted 2 nights π It's absolutely fine today! Still a little sore if I lift my arm, but not even as bad as yesterday now. I did lie on my left side last night when I went to bed and even that wasn't too bad. And I could drive alright today too so that was good lol.

Had my second jab this morning. I had to be there at 10am but after hearing about the long queues I got there about 20 minutes early to find about 20 in front of me (better than the 64 my neighbour had yesterday!). Found out then that they don't start until 10am! It all moved quickly once the doors opened at 10am. I have no reactions yet.

Got in my car to drive home from work yesterday and I could see the sun shining on something on the front of my windscreen. It was fine on my way to work. Someone must have driven past me while I was parked in work and hit a stone onto my windscreen. There's a tiny, tiny dot where the stone marked it and then a 4 inch crack going up and it then curves around and goes across for about 8 inches. The chip was a millimetre from the wiper - what a freak accident! I phoned Auto Windscreen this morning and thought I'd get the windscreen replaced today or tomorrow - no, a week tomorrow!! and it cost me Β£60. They assure me it will be okay to drive as it's not blocking my vision. I keep thinking it will fall apart! on Flickr
