What's everyone's musical tastes? I have quite a variety that tickle my fancy. My all time favourite group are Queen-no none could touch them in their hey day, Freddie was the ultimate showman. Being a very untalented guitar player I have a few favourites-Gary Moore, Brian May,Jimmy Paige, Richie Blackmore....the list is really endless.
Thin Lizzy-The Eagles-Joan Armatrading-Gerry Rafferty-Bonnie Raitt......... I have even listened to Opera on occasion, you can't beat a bit of Carmen, the music in that is spellbinding

Ooh good question.
I don't know what you'd class it as but my all time favourite bands are Blink 182 and Owl City. New Found Glory, Bowling For Soup, Paramore but then The Beatles, Oasis etc.
I can get away with some chart stuff but I'm not a massive fan

How remiss of me to leave out the best female all girl rock group of all time The Go-go's---- just a pity they have parted company with their bass player Kathy Valentine.

My favourites are Bastille and To Kill A King. The lead singers actually share a flat so they do a few things together and go on tour together a lot. Though I also like Pegasus Bridge, Tinashe, Coldplay, Foster The People and that sort of thing.

My music likes covers a wide range, mainly older performers. I'll admit to being, as a teenager, a member of the Cliff Richard fan club but I also liked the Rolling Stones, although not a great Beatles Fan. The Beach Boys, the Who & the Moody Blues are also good and of course Eric Clapton. Coming slightly more modern I enjoy The Communards, Guns & Roses, Bon Jovi, Queen & have even been known to buy an Alesha Dixon album. Country Music is a real favourite, Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Alison Krauss & Union Station,Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood & early Keith Urban For quirky music you can't beat Hayseed Dixie, Warren Zevron
Jim, agree with Page & May, would like to add Plant, Knopfler & of course Hank Marvin.
Then there's the classical. I'm more of a Wagner opera fan to Bizet but enjoy Gilbert & Sullivan. I could go on (all right I do ....!)
However as a great entertainer you can't beat Meat Loaf - I'm going to see him on his last tour in April!!

I LOVE Queen. Guns n Roses (went and saw them live in 1993 or 94). Wasp. Pink. Hootie and the Blowfish. Meatloaf. Shania Twain. Love some Country music especially some of the modern bands.
I love Dean Martin and all the Rat Pack tunes. Also love 60's, 70's and 80's music. At the mo I'm listening to Adele in the car. I just like music and if I can dance or sing along then I'm happy.

Looks like we all have fairly similar music tastes. Noticed no-ones mentioned rave lol And Gladys, when you went to see GnR I was only 1-2 years old! I saw them at Leeds Festival in 2010 (I think) minus Slash, they were late on stage as well...

My favourites are: Ash Blink 182 McFly CKY The Used Murderdolls Slipknot Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13 Fall Out Boy New Found Glory My Chemical Romance Rob Zombie You Me At Six Zebrahead I also like 90's britpop music and PJ & Duncan/Ant & Dec! Some would call Ant & Dec a guilty pleasure, but considering they're currently number 1, I'm not guilty about it at all!!

Ok that makes me feel old. It rain all day when we saw them and at the end of it Axl Rose was on stage in what looked like knee length long johns that were very see through because of the rain!?!? (If there was a blush smilie I would use it now). OOh and you know when people crowd surf at concerts *whisper* I did that there!!!
