When I got back from walking the dogs today, my dad had MTV on with the official top 40 chart on and I have to say, most of it is just noise! It's a shame that none of the more alternative music makes it into the chart - at least they use instruments and can actually be classed as music, unlike all this stuff that uses computers to make the "music".

Out of those of yours, I listen more to Metalica more and so do my parents. They're actually going to see a rock concert this Saturday!

I loved Queen too, I saw them at Hammersmith Odeon and also at the NEC in Birmingham. I think it was 1979 and 1980 but not too sure.
I enjoy a variety of music from rock to pop to country and western. I hate rap though.

The one and only chance I had of seeing them live was back in '82 when they played Milton Keynes Bowl. I ahd a ticket and everything arranged-then I caught the chicken pox and was housebound for 2 weeks To say I was not impressed is putting it mildly---after that trying to get tickets for a Queen gig was like trying to find hair on Yul Brynner's napper-next to impossible

Just to list a few Three Days Grace RED The Wanted Owl City Christina Perri FHDJSUCD ANOTHER OWL CITY FAN! None of my friends like Owl City. My boyfriend turned my iPod off yesterday because he refused to listen to a song that was just about going to the dentists LOL. And Orpheous and June, I agree, seems like all you have to do is press a button on a keyboard and you get into the charts lol! Much prefer proper musicians that can actually play instruments !

Looks like we all have fairly similar music tastes. Noticed no-ones mentioned rave lol And Gladys, when you went to see GnR I was only 1-2 years old!I saw them at Leeds Festival in 2010 (I think) minus Slash, they were late on stage as well... HaHa!!! Ok that makes me feel old. It rain all day when we saw them and at the end of it Axl Rose was on stage in what looked like knee length long johns that were very see through because of the rain!?!? (If there was a blush smilie I would use it now). OOh and you know when people crowd surf at concerts *whisper* I did that there!!! Lol, my bad I was born in October 1992 haha And oo-er. Can imagine that sent all the girls wild Fortunately he was a little more clothed at Leeds (he'd need to be, it was freezing!) And really? I was always too scared I'd get dropped, or kicked out haha! You're more of a risk taker than me Gladys

Yes haha! I was singing and he went 'that reminds me I need to make an appointment at the dentists. But I refuse to listen to a whole song about the dentists' And I love If My Heart Was A Home, Dementia (with Mark Hoppus) and I cant think of the others off by heart. I'll have to have a look through my iPod I got very excited when I saw Owl City did a song on the Wreck It Ralph soundtrack! The film was pretty good too
