Hi everyone, We are a British couple who moved to Pattaya Thailand 7 years ago, when we arrived here it was soon obvious to us that help was needed for the local stray cats in our community, to cut a long story short we started a shelter for abandoned and stray cats. We have 44 cats and kittens here at our home all available for FREE adoption, this year we have managed to re-home 55 cats and kittens so far and hope to get more into new homes before the end of the year. We have not yet managed to re-home a cat outside of Thailand but are keen to try, and now the quarantine rules have been lifted in the UK it is not too hard to acheive. We rely on our savings to run our shelter but do get a few donations now and again, if anyone is interested they can look on our website :-- cats4youinpattaya.webs.com/ on this site you can see photos of the lovely cats and kittens that we have here available for FREE adoption and also some of the cats that we have re-homed with their new owners. If you would like to help us in our never-ending task helping the cats in Pattaya and the surrounding area then you can using the DONATE link on the site too. Kind regards Paul and Sandra

Thanks for the good wishes,
We would encourage anyone who is thinking about helping us by either adopting a cat or kitten or making a donation please "Google" cats4youinpattaya , we usually come up at the top of the list , you can see dozens of pages showing the work we are doing here in Pattaya Thailand.
We are lucky to have the support of the local media here especially from Barry kenyon who until a few years ago was the Honourary British Consulate here in Pattaya and who now works part time for the "Pattaya Today" newspaper, they publish a fortnightly edition with a page containing photos of 4 of our cats that are available for free adoption.
Also here is a link to a short 10 minute YouTube video that was recorded by the "Pattaya Plus" TV crew a few years ago on it you can see us and some of the cats that we have here including our amazing cat with no eyes "Toby" who was the star of the show !!
Thanks, Paul, Sandra & the Cats !!

Welcome Paul and Sandra to the forum - I think it is amazing what you are doing for the local stray cats in Pattaya, Thailand - they are so lucky to have people like you to rescue them, love them and then find them new homes. 44 cats at the moment!! I can't imagine what that would be like! I wish you well in finding new homes for them. Keep posting on the forum, we would love to be kept up to date with news about the cats. Loved the YouTube video.

Just finished looking at the cats that are available. I'm so impressed that you haven't given up on the cats who have more complex care needs. There should be more people out there like you

finnellypaul well done for all your hard work with all the cats in your care. You are caring for some beautiful cats/kittens I have to ask whats the story with Flip & Flop? Keep up the good work I wish you all the luck in your adventure Flip and Flop were found in 2011 at a bar in Jomtien a beach resort near here, a holidaymaker called us and told us of the plight. There they were just laying around on the floor just waiting to be trodden on so we brought them here. Neither of them can walk and only Flip the black boy can wriggle about a bit, we have to feed them on a special "bobbly " mat so the biscuits won't go too far, Flip can drink from a shallow water bowl but his sister Flop has to be given water in a syringe. They were born this way and were told that their mother had some sort of virus while they were in her womb. We take them into the garden 4 times a day to go to the toilet, they just do their business on the grass, Flip will wriggle away from it but poor Flop is not so mobile. You can see them "in the flesh" by searching PATTAYA PEOPLE PARTY PATROL Ep 32 cats for you charity event, a fundraisng event that we had back in March. We have just rescued a small black cat today "Lucky one" a tourist found her last night in some bushes surrounded by a couple of nasty dogs, she picked her up and saw straight away that she had a broken leg after a trip to the hospital this morning an xray shows that she also has a fractured pelvis so i guess we wil be having a large bill for this little one !! Thanks for your interest, Paul and Sandra

'Lucky one' is certainly very lucky and hopefully will soon be on the mend. Poor Flip and Flop - how lucky they are too that you gave them a chance of a life. I watched the video - they are lovely cats, I think it's wonderful what you are doing for them and all of the other cats. Keep up the good work.
