www.eveningtimes.co.uk/news/stolen-dog-buster-is-found-but-familys-agony-goes-on-119589n.20623461Well, if ever there was a realistic warning of what could happen if your dog goes missing/is stolen, this is it. I know that most people on here are well aware of the dangers, but seeing this story makes it seem more real to me (if that makes sense). It's a definite reminder that there really are some scumbags out there. I hope the police manage to find whoever took this poor dog and I hope they're made to pay. But, it doesn't seem likely

Nothing surprises me anymore about subhumans blatant cruelty. They seem to be so steeped in nastiness, and have a hatred towards everything we should normally be protective of is just sickening. Hope this poor dog is home with it's loving owners soon, where it will heal mentally after it's horrific ordeal.

This is quite a sad story - there seemed to be one each week on the old YD Forum!! Not good.

I real feel for the family, chances are their dog may never be trusted with other dogs again and may have to be put down.
If you remember my experience with a rescue dog last year, everyone who saw her commented on her being a fighting dog, she did have some issues with her hind quarters. Her final downfall was the hunt and attack other dogs, despite all the re-socialisation work.
Hopefully, though, the damage may not be that bad.

I know Migsy, it's awful. I hope the dog recovers soon.

This is completely ridiculous! How could people do this to animals? Why would it cross someones mind? What happened to be a nation of dog lovers? Well that's a load of sh*t.
I despise human-kind, or most of it anyway, and people wonder bloody why!
I am also concerned as to how someone managed to cross a Border Terrier with a German Shepherd? Bit of a size difference there I reckon!
I hope this poor dog is sorted soon, no dog, puppy, or any other animal should have to fall into the hands of an animal abuser!

Training dogs to fight was talked about a few years ago on an American Boston T site. Over there Bostons are stolen to train Pit bulls to become fighting dogs as they look a little like young Pits and don't fight back. I'm telling you some of the human race need putting down!!

I agree Gladys, its ridiculous. Its no surprise dog attacks are becoming more regular, but yet the press don't take it as serious if it is humans attacking/abusing animals? How is that in any way fair? Some people.
