My bunnies have been in a 10ft x 6ft shed for 2 years now. I originally had 3 bunnies, who all got along, but Ailsa and Lewis don't, so at the moment the shed is split, with 3 bunnies having 6ft x 5ft and 2 bunnies having the rest (still 6ft x 5ft). It's never seemed like enough space for them so lately I had been thinking of buying a second shed for Ailsa and Lewis.
Today we got a new boiler fitted, and the ways its designed, we needed to cut a hole in the wall for the pipe to go out of, but that's not possible because of my shed. I was slightly worried I'd have to rehome the buns because there really is no other space for my shed.
Then my Dad said I was allowed to use one of our old outbuildings for them
I'm SO happy because it is HUGE!!! Really huge in comparison. The only downside is its FILTHY, its taking all day to clean it, hoover it, scrub the floors and walls. But it will be worth it! I need to get a tape measure out, and work out how much eat group of bunnies will get. Best of all, because its concrete, its solid against our winds, cool in the summer and totally chew proof!
