Can't remember if this has been posted on the forum before, but I was looking at the new photo galleries on the Your Cat website & saw the Close Up competition (it may have been in the email newsletter). Its for the photos for the online Advent Calendar. There are already a number of entries already & I've just tried to enter but got an error message but also an email that thanked me for entering!!! I've raised an query on this via email to James & Lara. Edit having looked at the YC facebook page I don't think I'm the only one having the odd problem but others have successfully entered - there's 180 in the entries already. Edit 2 Your Cat have already responded to my email & are passing it to their IT guy - a good fast response  |

I got an error message when I tried last week, but I tried a few days ago and it worked, so keep trying I've entered Rigsy into the cat one (tabby with a blue sky background) and I've entered Lucy into the dog one. |

Found Rigsy - a nice photo - but had difficulty scanning through 770+ photos for Lucy |

Yes, I managed to do Toffee's close up the week before last -I wanted to look at the entries but the link didn't work. |

Well I've managed to put up the photo - the only change I made was to remove an apostrophe from the description field, so for those of you who like their correct spelling I know can't is not spelt cant!!!!  We're number 209. lotsofcats the problem with the link is that as it has commas in its not always in full when used in some links www.yourcat.co.uk/component/com_gallery/view,gallery/gallery,close_up As you can see only part of the url above is highlighted as a url the rest is treated as ordinary text by the forum software! However copy & paste the whole line & it will work linkThe "link" option works OK as well. |

Whoops lotsofcats I'll have to look again. Just did - he's definitely number 180 if you count from the bottom which is number 1 the position changes if you count from the top as new ones are added at the top 180 has your name in the in the photo link as well |

I counted from the top and found a Toffee at 32 quoted as (going from my memory.. Toffee in my garden, or something like that ) |
