Hello I seem to have dogs that other dogs don't like, so I'll answer for each separately. Monty 1. Has you dog every be attacked by another dog? - Yes. When he was a puppy he was attacked pretty much every single walk, other dogs just didn't like him for some reason. A lot of people would sort of say 'he's never done that before' and would seem shocked by their dog's actions. I don't think their dog HAD ever done it before, so I don't blame them at all. He is still attacked often, though he will retaliate and instigate sometimes. He is walked on lead around dogs for this reason. 2. Has you dog ever been injured by another dog? - Only minor bite marks, some bled and had to be disinfected. 3. What type of injury did you dog receive and where on your dog was hurt? - He was bitten through the lip when he was young. Unprovoked attack, he got too near to a Border Collie's tennis ball! 4. Did the injuries require veterinary treatment? - Just stitches and disinfecting. 5. How much did the treatment cost? - Can't remember exactly but it wouldn't have been all that expensive. Although saying that, consultation fees alone add up! >( Woody 1. Has you dog every be attacked by another dog? - Yes, frequently. He is a submissive dog but as Aussies are big and fluffy and can appear dominant when displaying herding behaviour, they can appear more intimidating than they mean to be. 2. Has you dog ever been injured by another dog? - Not seriously, he has very thick fur! 3. What type of injury did you dog receive and where on your dog was hurt? - Emotional! Lol. Poor guy, he's always being pinned to the floor and he doesn't fight back in the slightest. 4. Did the injuries require veterinary treatment? - Nope, luckily! 5. How much did the treatment cost? - N/A My grandmother had a male Border Collie a while ago who was seriously injured on his leg by this group of dogs who were infamous in the area. The owner was an idiot and didn't control them. I still hear him screaming at his dog, who looks friendly, almost constantly when I walk past. His other dogs have since passed away. Claude, my nanny's dog, almost lost his leg because of this and had difficulty moving about for the rest of his life. That's the worst I've experienced a dog attack.

Hi Helen. 1. Has you dog every be attacked by another dog? Yes 2. Has you dog ever been injured by another dog? No 3. What type of injury did you dog receive and where on your dog was hurt? N/A 4. Did the injuries require veterinary treatment? N/A 5. How much did the treatment cost? N/A Both times the other dogs were muzzled but off lead. IMO as both time the owners were aware of the potential for there dogs to attack then they should have been on lead. The 1st time Jasper was only a puppy and a friends black lab got between to protect him, the second time the other owners said it only happened because Jasper had a stick. Poor excuse! Hope this helps.

I will try and put some pictures of Big Dog up but it won't let me attach them here for some reason Helen Helen, There's a problem with using the attachment method to upload photos as unfortunately the space to hold them is used up. The other option is to use a hosting service such as Photobucket or Flickr. There's some help in our FAQ index click hereDon't hesitate to ask for any furhter help with the forum
