You're not imagining it or if you are I am as well . I thought we were told it would be ad-free when we moved over. Maybe not fully sorted out yet.

I agree, if possible can they be put where they dont interfere with the natural movement around the main bit of the forum (very top or very bottom would be fine).
Well if ads are essential then at least the ads could be aimed at pets rather than being things like phones etc.
We used to have static ads on the last forum and as they were pet based they were at least partially useful!!

James nag nag nag any thoughts re moving the ad's away from eye level and above the Logo ? spend a lot of time on home page, jumping back and forth, hate it keep flashing past the eyes. To save you hunting ( if it is a case of finding time to find out how.... go to page 9 on support, Tinkerbell thread, all it takes is a plugin and it only took literaly under 5 mins to do, your a wizz so it would take you less )

I do see them too - its a little unfair that it costs to be add free - I'd rather have the adds than spend money on removing them.

Banner ads pay the bills to keep the forum running. Once your on the post you can't see them anyway so I don't really see the problem?? The last forum had them all down the sides and that was a bit of a pain, especially when they were flashing!!

Ohhh LOL debate time, when they flash in front of you all the time, when you are on the home page they are a pain, they can be moved from eyes sight, i.e above the forum Banner, I see the ads have gone again at time of posting this and much better. I suppose every one has different opinions, this is mine LOL no offence given and none taken by me , ohhh happy days I am expecting the ads to be back again tomorrow

Your Pet this must be the shortest month on record for ads returning, James could your pet IT guy move them so they are not right in your face, as previously begged LOL Now the Cat and Dog no longer have a banner in their theme, it would also make their home page look better, Await patiently again

I have an ad blocker installed into chrome so all I see is this "Please consider supporting this website by disabling your ad-blocker. This website does not use audio ads, popups, or other annoyances. Thank you!". Makes me feel a little guilty tbh lol

But as this computer is all linked to the works fileserver, and I am on here remotely connected, some of my work programmes do not like Chrome, so am stuck with IE. have also tried others but they all interfere with me doing payroll etc

scallywag You know I like ya muchly so don't let them bug you so much just scroll down really quickly and then you can't see them anymore. I'm just thankful they are not down the sides of this forum like the old one, my ickle LapTop didn't like them, they made the posts go weird and you couldn't escape the flashing.
