my neighbour just moved. She was a right cow 
to me and when she moved she abanded her cat. 
The cat speedy was soon pregant. Luckly the new tennet who moved in adopted speedy. 
I was there when she had her 6 kittens. 
Even though she was hardly fed all the kittens look healthy. 
Two of the kittens were born feet first and I gentle pulled them out because their feet were turning blue.Not easy when they are so wet and slimy. 
The owner had never had a cat and could not understand why speedy suddly started to follow her everywere. Until she spotted a lump coming out her rear. She quickley put her in her catbed. That was at 1030am and it took until 3pm to have 6 kittens. Speedy was very good mum. Although when she was pushing the kittens out she walked in circles and treated all over the kittens :-Sshe had alredy had, I wonded if we should of taken the kittens out once she had washed them ? 
The kittens seemed to find it very hard to find the teets. One even suckled on her toe.
Its three days later and they are all nice and healthy. 
Speedy rarly leaves her kittens, she holds on as long as she can then darts outside for her toilet. 
Sadly both mother and kittens are louded with fleas, 
despite being treated before they were born. I think the flat is full of them. I have tried coming her and the kittens but the fleas are so fast and hide in the creases of the kittens legs. 
She seems to know Im trying to help the kittens and licked me while I combed the whinning kitten. 
After two days I took her and the kittens out and changed the bloody blanket.
She did not like it and moved herself and kittens to behind the catbed.
It was a ausome experience and I welled up with tears when they were born.
I cant wait for them to open their eyes. Im going to keep the white one with black spots and a black tail I hope.
