Just thought I'd comment on the new Your Cat website - I really like it. It looks much slicker.
I've just switched from Internet Explorer to Google Chrome and can't believe how fast the browsing is. I just assumed it was all down to internet connectivity speed but clearly I was mistaken. Happy to admit I was wrong on this.
Has anyone else any good sites that they recommend?

Thank god you changed to Chrome, I can't stand internet explorer, especially with all of those additional toolbars. On any school computer I use I have to download it. Firefox is ok too.

I've been hooked on Chrome for a few years now, I can't be doing with IE at all. It's like being back on Dial Up!

I'm mainly a safari user as I pretty much use my iPhone for everything now. However on my laptop I'm still IE, I don't need it for anything fancy and I must be the only person that has had a slow chrome!? Things will load twice as quick on IE than chrome. My boyfriend has tried many times to get me to use chrome but I'm just a technological dinosaur

I always used IE but starting getting a lot of problems so tried Chrome & that improved things. Still get some odd things with Chrome but not as many crashes as IE.
Mind you if I want to download anything for the BBC iPlayer then I ave to use IE as there are problems using Chrome for that - known bug on the BBC iPlayer site.

I like Chrome a lot and use it nearly all the time but I also switch to Firefox on occasions - usually just for a change. I am surprised that anyone could choose to use Internet Explorer based on my experiences with it - and subsequent experiences on Chrome and Firefox.

I have no problem watching things on the iPlayer site with Chrome its just the download that has problems - it wants to install iPlayer but its already installed. This is from the BBC iPlayer help site:- I used to use IE so that could be the problem but BBC seem to have problems resolving it when you look at the date they posted that - over 6 months ago!

tonibI downloaded last weeks Dad's Army this morning to try it and it played fine downloading last weeks footie to try it too, not sure of the problem lies in which option the user chooses to download...either to iPlayer desktop or series record-personally I don;t think it should make any difference. 1 by T1NGLER, on Flickr will post back when the footie has finished downloading and let you know it it's working
