Unfortunately I lost my last Cory the other day. I was wondering what the correct process was to cleaning and disinfecting the full tank and all accessories for possible use in the future? Can you use something like milton?
All help advice given will be much appreciated Thanks

Sorry to hear you lost your Cory I would advise you to ask your local pet store which dose fish products. I don't have any real other advice sorry.

I was pretty gutted but for my first attempt on a tropical tank I think I done well. Yeh was thinking of asking a pet shop. Im sure in the future the tank will be full of life again...maybe not with fish though...

Is the cory the only fish you had in there? Are you talking about putting the tank away for future use? In which case, I'm sure something like Milton would be fine. PAH do sell special ornament cleaning solution otherwise

Bubbles, did the fish die of an obvious illness (e.g. was its body in any state etc)? How long have you had it?

I think boiling water would do it, posibly milton. May I ask how long you has the tank up and running, if it was only a short time there may not have been enough bacteria in the filtration system.
