He has been drinking loads over the past few days and weeing nonstop. He is also fine in himself. It's cooler today here too which helps.

If it was one of mine I wouldn't do much unless it was diarrhea, in which case I'd starve them for 24 hours & then give them bland chicken or tripe, only a small bit with maybe some natural yogurt too.

When Ellie had that, I got some pro-kolin paste off Amazon which works pretty well. I have read that the Yum-Pro probiotic stuff works too, but I haven't used that myself. That was it orpheous87 just couldn't think of the name I wondered if it might be that you meant! I got the biggest one I could to keep in the cupboard, just in case we need it again in the future.

Stools are getting better. Couldn't get him in at the vets today. They've had loads of emergencies in this morning but as long as he's improving I don't see it really necessary anyway

If they get worse again (for any reason) give him some natural yogurt and stick to chicken and rice

Bugger, must have jinxed our luck. Bernies poo was awful earlier so we went to the vets. The vet agrees it could of been the paddywack that set off his upset tum so he's now on chicken, rice, antibiotics and pro-kolin paste (which makes him pull the funniest faces).

Not good at all. I do hope he starts to improve again. His stomach must have really been enemy to those Paddywacks.

Yeah and with the heat, well... I think that's why it's taking so long to right itself.

Yeah and with the heat, well... I think that's why it's taking so long to right itself. Good thought. The heat, as much as people really appreciate the lovely weather, can cause problems in such areas as well as acting as some sort of Oasis to people living in usual drowsy-weather Britain... the heat gives Earl loose stools just from his having a lot of it, never mind having a problem to start with. Make sure Bernie is keeping well hydrated, and isn't spending too much time in the sun as this could worsen the problem like you have already suggested. Good luck

Mine love the Pro-Kolin paste!! They see container and they are sitting there licking their lips to get it!! Hope all improves soon.
