How to quote a post with formatting into another thread

If you want to quote, with its original formatting. into another thread then here's a method.

1. Open the thread which contains the post you want & go to that post
    
2. Click on the quote button and a reply window will open with the post already copied into it
    
3. Make sure that the the window is showing the BBCode tab not the Preview tab
    
4. Highlight all the text in that reply window
    
5. Copy the text (in most browsers that's Ctrl & C)
    
6. You can now close that window (if you want or leave till later)
    
7. Create the post that you want to put the quote in by
   either replying to a post (not the Quick Reply option)
   or by Creating a thread
    
8. Make sure that the the window is showing the BBCode tab not the Preview tab
    
9. Paste the copied text into the post window
    
10. You can now continue with the post as normal, even editing the quote if required (I would suggest checking everything looks OK by using the Preview tab)
