It was a while ago now but I think we kept filling up all the holes under the shed and hubby pushed sticks through to get them out of the last one and then put bricks and large stones in the holes. I'm not sure if that's why they went or the fact that we had loads of rain and that part of the garden always floods, so all the water must of gone down under the shed too. I don't think we had any rats after that.
I think the rats picked that area cause the chickens where there, lucky the chickens were a little higher than the shed so their eglu didn't get waterlogged!!

You would have loved it here at the weekend then, hubby cut the grass and I had to move all the baby frogs out the way first.
I lost count of how many there were, definitely over 30. Plus big ones too.
