Just been looking at this. It's specific to Pedigree but there are plenty of other foods that are similar.

Never liked the stuff anyway. Their adverts sponsoring Paul O'Grady's show infuriate me.

Well I never knew what was in Pedigree dog food until now because I have never fed it.
That video is just SURE to put people off!

Its what the breeder fed pup before I had her!! Just cos she could get deal on it with manufacturer!! I therefore had to feed it until I could wean her off it.

I don't understand why people are so surprised at things like this.
Pedigree is owned by Mars, a massive company that are obviously out to squeeze as much profit out of their products as possible. So it's no surprise that they will use the lowest quality ingredients that they can get away with
Advertising is a powerful tool though!

Unless the regulations and legislations around pet food change, companies will continue to produce crappy dog foods.

And the high prices tend to imply that the products are of good quality!! I have just bought a bag of Applaws Dry dog food for £33 which is only a couple of quid more than the RRP of a 15Kg bag of Pedigree (admittedly the Applaws is 12.5Kg but I think the point is made!).
