Nice and warm here. scallywag, how do you wear out 4 tyres at the same time? I bet that was expensive. I didn't lotsofcats. They all had lots of tread left , they have only done 6000 miles BUT the age , heat and Sun cracked the walls . Shame I cant put it in the garage BUT like all garages theres no room for a car and we have 2 x double garages grrrr.

Very warm here too. Hubby cut off his nose to spite his face - his brother's tall privet hedge badly needed cutting and he can't do it himself due to severe heart problems. They used to have the local gypsies trim it for Β£100. The one day they called and my BIL and SIL were going out, so she gave them the Β£100 to come back the next day-----you know what's coming next, she didn't see them or her Β£100 again. She had a quote for Β£650 off a gardening company. Hubby went to look at it and said he could do it. He's been there 4 times and there's still loads to do. It was around 10 feet tall and wide. it was leaning over on the neighbour's roof (bungalow) and they don't get on. He filled 2 green bins and the front garden with clippings and twigs so far. He took his shredder with him yesterday. He's not going today as it's too hot.

Forgive me for saying this who in their right mind TRUST randome people knocking offering their services by paying up front We have just had 2 of our hedges out back cut Β£410 and the smaller one out front not topped and only done 1 side that was Β£100 still have the 3rd side out back to be done but that can wait till November.
Its an expensive lark having our privacy around us eh ?

Looking like another beautiful but warm day.Although I have a pile of ironing to do , that I have been going to do for ages πand the pile is getting bigger and bigger, so going to definitely do it today π
Not complaining about the heat the pooches will have a potter about in the garden for short periods. They both had a walk yesterday evening , it was quite cool.
