Didn't hear any thunder but definitely had a big flash of lightening around 10:30/11pm last night (9th) then the heavens opened. I thought I could hear thunder but it turned out to be a gutter overflowing on to the conservatory rood. Its not blocked just a small area of the edge missing but the downpour was so heavy that the remaining depth couldn't cope! I've been meaning to get it repaired but never had it so bad! Trouble is that as it over the conservatory roof (the sort with spikes on top!) it may well need scaffolding erected for safety, in which case I might as well get the soffits painted as well.

The rain eased off after about 15 minutes but continued on & off through out the night (not to the same strength) but was dry but dull most of the today but rained this evening.

Animals I love: I am a big animal lover but i have a special place in my 💓 for Dogs and Cats.
Pets I own: I am owned by 2 Rough Collies 🐶🐶 called Riley and Elsa and a rescue Cat Freddy😻 and not forgetting the new additions Mabel 🐹and moonlight 🐹 I have previously owned 2 german spitz named Mitzi Moo and Phoebe my 2 little angelsxx gone but never forgotten xx
And my late rescue cat Sindy that I keep close to my heart ♥️

Bucketing down at the moment. I've just come back to work from a funeral. They had a bagpipe player - I felt so sorry for him waiting out in the rain for the funeral car to arrive at the Crematorium. It was very nice having bagpipe music - so very loud inside though.

Riley is having a day off , he had a longish walk with his Dad yesterday and I have groomed him today.
