A lovely sunny morning , managed to get some washing outside but it has forecast thundery showers this afternoon and the sky looks very grey so I have brought in my washing now .

cloud didnt last long here , suns out again very warm. Im busy facing up the front laurels hedging whist we still have the skip, no idea what im doing but it will grow back 🤭

A very hot day yesterday , it reached 26* it was very hot for the pooches 🥵Riley was just mooching about and throwing himself on the floor.
Lovely and cool in our living room up until around 1:30pm that’s when the sun moves around.
They were lovely and cool inside.
Can you believe some people walking there dogs 🐕 in this heat 🥵
I nipped to Asda with hubby to do a food shop and saw a couple walking there 2 spaniels 🥵bless them they’re tongues were just hung out .
Hubby took Elsa a little walk late last night and I just sat at on the back garden with Riley playing with his ball 🥎
I think it’s going to be another hot day today 🥵but apparently even warmer tomorrow 🥵

Awful to take dogs out in the hot sun. To keep your room cooler chantel shut your curtains/ blinds and windows when the sun comes around, it works. Nicish day here, sunny now and then. |

Thanks for that lotsofcats , We have just left Riley to do his own thing today , he has had one of his stubborn head’s on today ☹️very grumpy and not eaten much at all today , but I think it’s mostly lack of sleep last night he’s really tired and warm today. I don’t think I’m helping matters waking in the early hours with these bloody hallucinations excuse my language, we are all really tired today 😴 |

Yes much cooler with the curtains and windows closed , we are fine in the morning but by 1:30 we get full sun on the back .
I have trimmed Riley’s underneath this morning and thinned him all out , he was just too warm , hoping now he will be much cooler and he might feel cooler during the warm nights.

Glad that it worked chantel. We get the full sun on the front of the house from first thing up until 3pm, so hav to close the curtains and windows in the living room and the dining room. Good idea to trim Riley underneath, I'm sure he appreciates it. |
