Hi..hoping someone can give me abit of advice, i have a Beautiful Rescue cat from the Rspca, he,s 9 & has no teeth due to an abcess (they had to take all his teeth out).
He will always have Gingivitus, i still have him on a Foster basis...he,s not eaten for a day & he,s hiding at the mo & when he does come out he looks kinda scared, he,s defo not himself, i can,t ring the Rspca till Mon now then i don,t know if i can get him up there coz of the snow (its really bad in Yorkshire)....would the Rspca give him some pain medication ect if they think it was his gums playing up..i could get up there to get it to save him the stress of being taken out in the cold & snow).
I feel so hopeless & sorry for him, i just want to have him on my lap again to cuddle...could he have a cold as i have just got one ? he,s been vacinated ect..he,s not been let out since we got him last Nov..poor baby puss...

I would either call the RSPCA on Monday or your vets just for some advice. Where is he hiding? Could you put some water and wet food near him? He might be picking up on your worry so just sit calmly and see if he comes out for a cuddle.

Hi Welcome over to the new forum.
Sorry to hear Pele's not being himself again. Is he drinking and using the litter tray as normal?
I always worry when ours go off their food but usually they pick up again the next day. As gladys says he could be picking up on your concern as well.
Let us know how he is tomorrow. If you ring the RSPCA they would advise you as to whether they would want to see Pele or not. They probably would in case its not his gums.
I'm sure others will give some more advice.
