Glad she arrived safely. That must have been quite a trip for her breeder, not just the distance (even taking into account staying at her son's) but the hand feeding! Nice to read that Victoria has settled in well - I wish I knew how you always settle in the new members of your family so easily! Great photos

Ah bless, if she's ever cold you've a few puddies that she could snuggle into with their wonderful coats.

Glad she arrived safely. That must have been quite a trip for her breeder, not just the distance (even taking into account staying at her son's) but the hand feeding! Nice to read that Victoria has settled in well - I wish I knew how you always settle in the new members of your family so easily! Great photos The breeder went straight back home instead of going to her sons, so it was a long drive. Victoria is doing really well, this is just her second day and she is so confident, we must have the knack Toni lol. She has just discovered we have a third floor and has been running up stairs a few times this morning to see what is up there, she's not shy in walking around and it must be daunting for her with all these big cats but she is being very brave and going where she wants to go regardless of having to walk past a few to get to where she wants to go. I have learnt I cannot sit with my legs crossed when I am wearing slippers as she will come from no where and pull my slipper off and run off with it. She seems to like zips too, She has had a bath this morning, she did really well and I also managed to clean her teeth with no problems. I have also found I would be better to fold my clean washing when she is not around as she loves to 'help' lol...and wouldn't take No for an answer. Thankyou to everyone for your lovely comments.

I like all the pictures and especially the 4th one where she is looking up. Her eyes are far apart which gave her a special 'something" (don't know the English word)

Victoria's breeder has done a good job on socialising her & getting her used to being handled. Sounds like one thing has slipped through the training - the meaning of No !!! She has done really well in the confidence stakes.

Victoria is so unusual Sharon, she doesn't look real!! So pleased she has settled in well - you certainly have the knack, when I had Kai Ruki it took about 6 weeks for Kiba-Khan to accept him. A long drive for the breeder but she probably delivers kittens herself to make sure she is happy with the home they are going to. I know for sure she is very happy with Victoria's new owners and home.

Thanks everyone, Victoria has now made friends with all the cats and has been playing chase with Wispa and Xenia, running up and down stairs at 100mph, it is like she has been here forever now, she is happy to sleep in their room with them, she likes to visit Taylor and her kittens too. All hissing has now stopped. She was a little wary of Xenia and Wispa at first but has made friends and loves to play with them all now. I do find having a variety of different breeds seems to help and they seem to readily accept newcomers and get along well together.
