Hello!
My name is Amy, but on here I will be known as puppylove22! I'm 13 years old, but very keen to keep a close eye on the Your Dog forum, as I think it's a great idea! I've just recently been getting into the Your Dog magazine, however I'm already hooked on it, and find it so useful. Finding the forum is even better because you can make conversation and find out things from fellow dog owners! And yes, I may be a little young to know everything about dogs, but I am willing to learn an awful lot! I have a dog of my own. She is called Daisy, a Shih Tzu bitch and is 2 years old. I got her for Christmas (I know, I know, a dog is not just for Christmas, but I love her to pieces so calm down!) and she is the first dog that I've ever had. She is such a funny character, and reading things from the magazines and the forum helps me learn things that help me to understand or train her. Anyways, this post wasn't just for me to natter on. I wanted to know about your dogs too! What breed is your dog? I think dogs make the perfect pets♥
Also, I'm not too sure how to upload photos yet, so if anyone knows how to do that let me know! (I want to post my from a photo in my documents, not a link online). Wow this was a long post, thanks for reading - speak soon!

Hi Amy, Welcome to the forum! One of my dogs was a Christmas present too, although we got her in September. I'm Emma and my dogs are Pepper (English Springer Spaniel) and Ellie (SpringerxPointer). As for uploading photos, I think there's still an issue where the forum has run out of space (we've all uploaded too many!) so I think most people are using external hosts like Photobucket (which is free). You can upload your photos there and it gives you links that you post into the body of your post and the photo will show up (you use the link with [ IMG ] ![]() at the start). Hi Amy ( puppylove22 ) Welcome to the forum from me! I am known as BT for BorderTerrier (username) on the forum, so feel free to call me BT. I have a lovely 3 year old Border Terrier called Earl who is my very best friend - we enjoy competing in agility together!  I agree with @orpheous89 - we are all experiencing photo uploading problems at the moment, for the same reason as mentioned. In the meantime, do you have a Flickr or Photobucket account? I would advise you join up to one. Photobucket allows you to upload your photos, copy their IMG Link and paste into the forum, and walla! You have photos on the forum! I am one of the older members, i own a 21 week old Rough Collie called Riley and a 9 year old moggy called Sindy.
I have also owned 2 german spitz called mitzi and phoebe but they are no longer with me any more.

Hi Amy! I'm Charlotte, I'm 20 and I own a 7 year old Mini Poodle called Jasper. I used to have a Lab who I got for doing well in my GCSE's but we lost him young. I'd spent ages looking after my aunties dog to show I meant business. As long as its considered carefully and you look after your dog for life there's no issue with getting them as presents I'm now working in a Grooming salon and studying Canine Behaviour and Training at Uni - I don't think my mam thought my interest in dogs would turn into such an obsession! If you've any questions about the forum don't hesitate to ask. We've started a Help Section & there is information in there about uploading photos but as others have said there, currently, is a problem with uploading them from your computer. We don't know when it will be fixed so the only way at the moment is through one of the hosting services like Photobucket or Flickr.
Should say I'm Toni, I was brought up with dogs but now have 4 rescue cats aged from 4 to 14.

Wow, thanks for the kind messages everyone! You're all so welcoming, it's so nice. Your dogs all sound fantastic, and as for the photo problem, thank you very much for helping me out - I have set up a photobucket account and will hopefully be uploading pics in no time.
