until the Italian Job, and Poppy is still not happy with the new cat flap. She is OK getting in, but hopeless at getting out in the first place. She doesn't seem to have the strength to push it open. She is such a diddy thing, almost 10 months old and still only 3.1kg. She leads with her paws (they all do) so I have spent the last two days holding her hand and pushing at the door. I have been very strict about not opening the door to let her out, but a few times she has beaten me to it. The boys on the other hand have no problems and are in and out like a fiddlers elbow. I think mum is in for a lively two weeks.

Odd that Poppy manages in not out as I would have thought it would need just the same pressure. Our Lexie was 3.1Kg when we got her last year at 2.75 years. She might have put on a little now but she manages the flap both ways paws first So lovely to see your gang though we're missing Sausage Alfie looks great especially after all he went through last year. Enjoy the holiday & good luck to your mum

So lovely to see your gang though we're missing Sausage Sausage is still going strong. He has a new lease of life thanks to the Metacam.

Look forward to seeing some photos of him maybe? Penny's been on Metacam now since October 2010 for her arthritis, initially at a reduced amount for her weight but now on the max.

Beautiful pictures. Tosha, my new cat, was the same. She could get in through the flap but not out. I told her it works the same way, but it took nearly two weeks before she tried it. It takes her more time because she uses her paws instead of her head but I'm no butler any longer.
