Spoke to soon Bella brought up a big furball yesterday then wouldn’t eat her normal food but did eat chicken and this morning woke up to vomit and diarrhea with a very quiet cat - just waiting for the vet to open 😢

Bloods taken the results should be in early next week although they are going down the food route, she’s had another anti sickness and is eating the food from the vet Royal Canin Gastrointestinal which they’ve asked me to keep her for the week along with freshly cooked chicken, can a cat suddenly develop an intolerance with food they’ve had for so many years ? She seems much better in herself just very quiet. I’m hoping the blood test gives us answers but praying not too nasty ones Xx

Hows Bella today Dianne . X She’s seems much better thank you scallywag, she’s eating well, playing and no evidence of a poorly belly the Royal Canin food certainly seems to suit which is why I’m leaning towards this being a food issue, not sure if they can develop an intolerance to foods but should know more after the blood test results come in Xxx

Bella’s blood results are giving a low protein & vitamin B12 reading which indicates a thickening of her intestine wall which could be IBD or tumour the only way to check to rule out will be via a scan, she starts vitamin supplements tomorrow & I’ll be booking in her scan tomorrow, absolutely terrified can’t lose my baby girl
