Just read something about all cars being chipped in the UK it was a article from catsmatter does anyone know anything about this as to how it will effect cats that live free without owners to chip them I always worry as to the why do people want to change things usually there is a reason why someone wants to know who ownes that cat nobody ownes the other one

You read it right spider, I think that is now the law, or soon will be, that cats must be microchipped. They certainly didn't think of the poor strays. |

And who exactly is going to police it? It's only going to be the vets that will check, so I think you strays will be ok spider. |

Seems that in an rta they can contact the owners but I am suspicious because this way they identify the homeless ones I thinking of contacting the authors of the bit I read and ask them what's the plan for cats that live free
