As always where to start the engine packed it in so the car was parked at a friend's garage I was on bicycle to work and for feeding source an engine as I'm a mechanic by trade I done bits of the striping myself but needed a hoist to get engine out and other in but with a lot of help from the young man that owned the garage we got it sorted still have small bother but it's a good engine a family contacted me there was a stray cat at there house disturbing there dog and cat they wanted rid of him well car off the road I couldn't get to collect him next message he was covered in nature and very dirty I gave them a carrier because they didn't have one they broke the door so it was useless so long story short I eventually got him while I was there I seen on a shelf a new carrier they had one all along but that's past I now had him he is safe and washed if he isn't a pure British short-haired he is very close tonight I checked him for a chip nope not chipped vrea is taking him iv him in for neutering Monday morn vera will keep him afterwards so hopefully that's him sorted I think yesterday morn a neighbour was returning from a trip to town he phoned to tell me a cat had a rta just outside ours I went to see I really expected it was kitten but it was another neighbours one I looked after when they were away little timmy a lovely fellow I called to the house thevlady answered I asked was timmy in she said no I let them out 5 min ago thats a hard think to have to tell people that's been most of my week its had some good bits some kinda ok bits and some really sad bits

Thank goodness for Vera, she's a saint taking all the waifs and stray's in. Sorry to see your neighbor lost her cat in a RTA, unfortunately that's the risk in having an outdoor cat. I hope your motor is sorted quickly.

Poor paddy that's what vera called him I think k it's for Pat he is settling somewhat better he came out last night to get his head rub Ed and purred and purred had some food I'm getting him neutered tomorrow that might help some of the others in the house accept him and its not cats or dogs I'm talking about but all is going to be OK I was asked by a rescue to lea e him in the vets but kinda not happy leaving anyone on vets it doesn't always ha e a good outcome
