As we were leaving asda today there was a beautiful German Shepherd aton a lead tied to a post we went and unloaded the trolly and when I returned well I just had to say hi from a distance this was I would think a 6 month old pup he acknowledged that I spoke but not for a second did he shift his eyes from the door watching for his person it struck me what loyalty nothing else mattered just that one person what wonderful creatures we share our world with

I've only ever done that outside the local shop, where I can see him at all times. No way would I leave him outside a supermarket. I often see poor dogs left waiting outside our Asda too.

I do feel sorry for the dogs left outside a shop. Their anxious little faces, bless them. Nowadays you couldn't be sure your dog would still be there. Hubby used to leave Kobi outside the paper shop in the mornings, he was like a mad thing (Kobi, not hubby).
